science , philosophy non-commensurable (not measurable through common standard)... it's comparing apples cats.

science , philosophy have strengths , limitations.

instance, science may able give explanation of how things in world work/happen.. has limitations in explaining why come accept these explanations 'truths'. meanwhile, philosophy may able push possible reasons or arguments of why believe things - in end, may not anywhere.

recommend take course in philosophy of science. it's discipline in philosophy explores makes science science, pseudo-science , limitations of scientific explanations/theories.
