For the history buffs...?
don't know why love history. guess because enjoy learning people different times , cultures, , trying understand 'who when why' thing. i'm in last semester of graduate school, working on ma in history, , if @ transcript, wouldn't able tell favorite time period is, because i've taken such huge range of topics. desision of going history due fact had awesome jr. high history teacher hs history teacher; both of whom taught 'outside box', speak. challenge students explore why specific event happened-they didn't make copy notes off board , test on it.
have people tell me time think history boring. think attitude comes not having teacher in hs , before. if more people hear exciting parts of history instead of being given list of dates memorize, think more people enjoy learning history.
history repaying me? not yet. guess i'll have wait until after graduation , see kind of job i'll get. want work state's historical society or national archives, jobs extremely hard get, , i'm willing settle smaller museum. ask me question again in 10 years , i'll know if of studying of history has paid off. :-d
why history much? attracted in learning more of it? propose of people aren't enlightened in sphere of knowledge? repaying you?
