Filing taxes and FAFSA?

hello. i've been interested in getting aid go school haven't seen answer problem i'm sure i'm in.

please bear me , story:
i'm 22 , have been working 5 years, have paid taxes once. in 1099 business of time , received 1099s work. first year w2d , got refund of $10 when filed. since being 1099d, paid once in 1 quarter couldn't keep paying on. irs wanted little more $5100 per quarter me (that's on $20,000 year) @ time wasn't making $4000 per month. ignored green irs check slip-things , envelopes on needed money live, plain , simple.

in addition that, found out not old enough aid (regardless of own tax issue) because i'm young , have involve mom. but, hasn't filed own taxes in on 10 years!

know neither of in position file or pay large sum of money. know, power bill or rent, let alone irs.

i'd love go school , out of line of work. have suggestions or been through this? i'm tired of explaining story , having counselor hang on me or tell me leave office no answers.
