When will I recieve notification of my student loan?

it's been month since turned in app. i've gotten pell grant notice, still nothing on loan. i'm freakin' out, financial aid office @ school keeps telling me not worry. mind you, can't give me indication of when recieve sort of verification, still tell me not worry. so...as of time, don't know if i'm approved or how might getting.

have similar experiance? if so, should confirm loan being processed?
