People in Sacramento -- where's a good place to live? Lincoln? Roseville? Plumas Lake? Marysville?

i've lived in sacramento 2 years, , i'm looking buy house -- preferably new or newer in nice community. want spend somewhere in low $200,000s or less. money go further in plumas lake in roseville , lincoln , outdoors stuff fishing , boating have out there. however, i'm worried plumas lake might not in safe area , worry flood risk.

i'm not familiar area because i'm not here. have visited communities i'm thinking of , liked of them, hearing native sacramentans out there helpful. people i've talked seem advise against in yuba city area, seemed okay me when i've visited.

also, work downtown , live in apartment near work, insight kind of commute i'd getting myself helpful too.
