How do I get my electronic key to work on my 2003 Mercedes Benz S500?

it's not possible sure what's wrong without more info,,,,,,and there isn't way "re-set" smartkey, they're programmed @ key , lock facility in texas , cannot re-programmed.
isolating problem depends on functions work , don't.
if of functions fail @ same time need new key.
if remote lock/unlock feature works, not ignition, have weak battery in car.
if ignition works not remote lock/unlocking, need new remote batteries.

sometimes works, doesn't. know how reset them?
